(Radio Macau News) The current affairs program "Macao Lecture" discusses suggestions for the work of the new government. Speaking at the meeting, DAB Vice-President Song Bik Ki said that the society and residents are full of expectations for the new SAR Government, and are more concerned about how to further enhance economic development and people's livelihood protection. She said that at present, all aspects of society have demands, and she hopes that the government will be open to more opinions in the future, listen to more opinions, and truly formulate policies more closely to the ground.
Chan Kin Sun, director of the UM Master of Public Administration programme, expressed the hope that the new government will continue to optimize the e-service platform, strengthen the flow of data between departments, and reposition the family function in an orderly manner so that the relevant social security system can operate more ideally. He also said that integration into the overall development of the country is irreversible, and the key is how to adapt to the new situation and allow small and medium-sized enterprises to create new space.
Zeng Zeyao, Vice President of the Economic Association, focused on how the new government can do a good job in supporting the development of Macao's "1+4" diversified industries. He said that he agreed that Macao needs to set up a industrial park to support the development of the big health industry in the future, and that he believed that Sham Ho-fai's proposal to study the establishment of a guiding industry fund to promote a diversified economy was a more innovative idea, and he believed that the fund would be sustainable.
Choi Chi-shing, chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Historic Urban Development, hopes that the new government can do a good job in undertaking policies, and believes that while the six major leisure enterprises are revitalizing the area, the government should also make a good plan in advance so that tourists will not affect the residents when entering the district, and he hopes that the government will study how to attract young people to better enter the old district.
